WORK WITH ME

If you’re looking for someone who will meet you where you are – complete with all your nuances, contradictions and imperfections – for a genuine conversation about how make your business or creative practice more sustainable, then you’re in the right place.

CONSULTANCY, COACHING & MENTORING

If you've read all the books, listened to all the podcasts, and you're still feeling stuck, you might just need to hash it out with someone one-to-one. Or perhaps you know exactly where you're going, you just want some support along the way. Depending on where you are in your sustainability journey and your own approach to learning and development, you will have different needs and preferences. That’s why I have three different offers for you, each intended to meet you where you’re at.

germination

GERMINATION

Sometimes it’s a quick but focused conversation to sow the seeds of an idea, to give you the confidence you need to get started on something new, or to move forward on something that’s had you feeling stuck…

propagation

PROPAGATION

Or perhaps you want an intensive deep-dive that helps you to see where you are on your Path to Sustainability, provides clarity on your next steps and forges the connections to help you get there…

cultivation

CULTIVATION

Or maybe you just know that the work you need to do runs deep and you are ready to invest in the time it takes to move forward towards finding your niche and becoming fully sustainable…

SPEAKING

Katie Treggiden’s keynotes inspire and inform in equal measure, keeping audience members gripped from beginning to end and giving them actionable steps to take away with them. Her seemingly effortless, engaging and conversational panel events belie the meticulous planning she orchestrates behind the scenes. Katie chairs press conferences, delivers keynotes for international conferences and is a regular at design events such as Milan Design Week, Stockholm Furniture Fair and the London Design Festival.  Katie invests herself fully in the events she speaks at, engaging with speakers and delegates alike on the broader themes of the day. She equally comfortable presenting live and in-person, or virtually via digital channels in both live and pre-recorded formats.
She is frequently called upon for expert commentary by radio, podcast and TV broadcasters who rely on her to deliver original insights in a concise, articulate and engaging manner.

WRITING

Katie Treggiden is a purpose-driven writer championing a circular approach to design – because Planet Earth needs better stories. With 20 years’ experience in the creative industries, she regularly contributes to publications such as The Guardian, Viewpoint Magazine, Crafts Magazine, Dezeen and Design Milk. She is currently exploring the question ‘can craft save the world?’ through an emerging body of work that includes Wasted: When Trash Becomes Treasure (Ludion, 2020) and her sixth book, about mending and repair, that will be published in Spring 2023. She has launched, edited and published an award-winning design blog (confessions of a design geek) and an independent print magazine (Fiera). In 2019, she gained a distinction for her Master’s Degree in the History of Design from the University of Oxford, specialising in craft and sustainability.
